If I could leave zero stars I would. Walking in to the cafe there was literally no welcome, no smile and no direction as to where we could sit. We asked if we could sit in the corner table by the window but it was reserved from 2pm so we weren’t allowed to sit there…we arrived at 12?The waitresses could not of cared less if we were there or if we had walked out, the hostility was evident from arrival and they both looked like they didn’t want to be there. The jacket potato was lukewarm and tasted like it had been reheated from the day before. I think if you’re going to charge £12 for a baked potato, it probably should come out baked and crispy, not soggy from a microwave. The pie was not a pie, it was a bowl of minced beef with a square of puff pastry put on top, again, for a £14 pie, you’d expect some effort to be put in to your food. All the food was mediocre and something I’d compare to microwave food.Upon leaving we spoke to the manager who had the same attitude as the waitresses, clueless and completely unbothered, with a nasty tendency to talk back.We did say we wouldn’t come back and there was no effort whatsoever to try and resolve the issues we faced or offer compensation, although this wasn’t the intention of the complaint.I genuinely will never return here, the whole place needs retraining, from management downwards and perhaps the chef should have a rethink about what food standards he’d like to serve according to the prices charged.I would recommend people to avoid this place.

We were made to feel uncomfortable. The way the tables are set in the room it’s a maze to get to the till. Absolutely no customer direction from staff, didn’t know where we could sit, as only tables left were reserved( for the afternoon?!) no table service either-and it took every ounce of the waitresses brain power to allocate us a table that was reserved for in 3 hours time. She literally told us to be gone by 1.30. It was 10 o’clock. The other tables were reserved for even later! Who reserves tables at 10 in the morning for a 4 o’clock sitting and actually considers turning away customers? The restaurant clearly needs better management as staff don’t understand basic waitressing management. The breakfast was actually shocking. Burnt toast, bacon barely cooked, hash brown was soft mushy, mushrooms were clearly old shrivelled and dry prior to cooking. We just paid a tenner for 1 piece of bacon a sausage and a few beans. Everything else was inedible! Total waste of money. No item swapping message on the menus is just anti social and makes the chef look lazy and incompetent. The customers happiness is far more important than the chefs. Morrisons breakfast is far better and that’s saying something. You’d think got a farm shop they would care about meat quality in their breakfasts! What a waste. The restaurant has huge potential.

Hadnt made a booking, happy to sit on sharing table, 2 ladies asked if they could join me, said of course, as long as there is room for my daughter and grand daughter who are currently in the baby change. They were fine with that, we had actually joked that it was the naughty table for people who hadnt booked. but woman behind counter has to come to table and strongly reiterate that it was the sharing table, of which I was already aware. She then proceeded to bang in to the chair on table behind me, with a "sorry there is no room to get through" no need whatsoever for that, really disappointed. Server had got wrong end of stick, thinking I was turning the ladies away, when she couldn't have been more wrong if she had tried.

We stop here for breakfast on the way to Cheltenham racecourse. Always a lovely breakfast but I advise booking in advance as it does get busy on Saturday mornings. Four of us is 3 breakfasts and a veggie breakfast. Breakfast gives a great start to the day as we don't eat again till on the way back home. We all love it here and keep coming back every year when passing. Lovely shop as well and I always spend to much as lovely produce.

Disappointed breakfast. Served on a cold plate that had dishwasher residue that you could feel on the plate. Sausages needed a sharper knife to cut. Staff not quite understanding that I wanted no tomato, I understood no swaps I just didn't want the tomato but ended up with it. Hash browns very dry. Given half an hour of eating what I had transfered to my clean toast plate I had an upset stomach.

The shop has fresh fruit and vegetables, that are full of flavour, we also loved all the sweets and brandy snaps that they sell. Also went to the cafe, the prawn sandwich was amazing, filled with salad, jacket potato that mum had was great, panini dad had was tasty too. Great location and welcoming staff.

I went in the week in April when the queue was small so I didn't have much wait and was able to have a good look around. Great produce. I also ate there. Amazing chips with parmesan. Will get a burger next time. Be aware the burger van closes at 3pm. Saw Caleb working in the field next to the van and he had a burger taken out to him.

Stopped on our journey south. Coffee and paninis were very nice. If it had been warmer we could have used the outside seating area, but inside was more than adequate. Well worth a visit.

Very very disappointed, staff are incredibly rude and dismissive. Especially the woman in the coffee shop. If that's how you run a business, I suggest you close...We left immediately and can honestly say I won't be returning. We went to Ellenden and we're welcomed in and had a really enjoyable afternoon. At least, it would seem they know what they are doing. Customers are out first and not treated like something started to the underside of a shoe... 😡

This is a lovely farm shop and cafe. We were able to sit on the sofa near the log burner and look out over the rolling fields. We enjoyed our Latte and Bakewell sponge before picking up a few essentials from the shop. We bought a Steak and Ale pie which proved to be delicious and fresh Rhubarb. We will be going back in the very near future.

love visiting the cafe such lovely food and cakes and charming farm shop. But had to stop going as inside cafe is very unfriendly to dogs. They will rudely tell you that you can sit outside in pouring rain!! Yet you can walk your dog around the farm shop yet the cafe is a no go which really is disappointing as I can’t see any reason for it, most places now days at least have a dog friendly corner.

We'd heard good things about Chadbury Farm Shop in terms of grabbing a nice breakfast and were pleased to find they were absolutely right. There was plenty of parking and although there were lots of tables reserved for bookings we were able to find a table for the four of us. I would advise booking a table to be sure! The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. The food arrived very quickly after we ordered and was very good indeed. Everyone was very happy with their food and nothing was left at the end. Highly recommended.
