The cafe is at the back of the shop.Very nice view at the cafe.I was hoping that the cafe may serve jam or butter sold in the Farm Store but many of the dishes I order/ask did not use the product from the store.
This review is for Cafe Only.Great service by Holly and Olivia. Loved the teas, coffees, Cakes and Sandwiches. Gutted i only live 200 miles away or i’d be a regular visiter.
Fun trip out to the farm shop. Enjoyed it immensely. Even got around the shop in my powerchair! Just had to go out the 'in' door after we had paid as exit door was too narrow but I has my till receipt to prove payment so all good! Followed it up with tea and cake in the cafe! Wow what views!
This is the best farmshop we have ever been to and we have been to loads across the uk. The produce, quality, range and price are top notch. We love the pie slices especially the lamb we try and go every Christmas for a little treat. Sad they stopped doing the honey bacon we liked that. Cheese is lovely as is the fresh orange juice. I think the granola is too hard though.
Just visited the cafe at Chatsworth farm.Travelled a long way after reading positive reviews. However i cannot agree with a lot of the reviews posted. We had 3 lunches Crab linguini roast dinner and haloumi fry sandwich.linguini was awful smothered in lime juice which killed any taste of the crab.Haloumi sandwich (with fries missing ) was dry hard and the salad was placed on a red hot plate.Roast dinner was poor with hard roast potatoes.THE FLOOR WAS ALSO VERY DIRTY WITH OLD FOOD UNDER THE TABLE.Allin all very disappointing and expected better from Chatsworth. Will not be returning cost of lunch £ 60
Loved it.Vast range of foods/drinks & gifts. There is also an amazing cafe/restaurant with great food an wonderful view.We visit every time we go to Derbyshire.
Beautiful views from the amazing cafe/restaurant before shopping from the farm shop which has a lot of wonderful local products. Well stocked butchers, deli and bakery. One of my favourite places to visit.
A very nice well stocked farm shop. Out door cafe only. From a sheepskin to a potted plant, steak, fish, wines and biscuits. Very well laid out and in the country not in the Chatsworth estate. Dont get confused with the garden centre.
Me and my family visited Chatsworth Farm shop and we were thrilled to see the variety of fresh/organic fruit and veg available. The place was very clean and the toilets were commendable! A thoroughly polished area with some cattle to see as well ad the Chatsworth estate only 5 min drive away from the shop. It was a lovely day out for us.
Visited the cafe with my mother in law today as we were driving through the peaks and wanted a quick bite for lunch. Had a really poor experience from start to finish... First we were told there was no water (but we got glasses of tap water to drink) then we were told there was a delay on hot food (and cold food) because the kitchen was struggling to cope. We were not updated by any staff about our order and I had to ask TWICE about the progress of our sandwiches before they came after about half an hour of waiting. To top it all we ordered a coffee which never arrived, but which was charged to our bill. This cafe desperately needs a staff member to be in charge and to ensure good customer service. Very disappointing for such a well known establishment.
The farmshop was very good & we always like calling in whenever we are in the area.We were a little disappointed when we went in the restaurant though. I think the staff would benefit from a little bit of training in customer service.
This is a wonderful shop, designed and layed out superbly. The produce and excellent quality and variety. Amazing cakes and tarts, Deli counter and Butchery. The condiments and preserves section is marvellous.100% recommended 🙏🏼
A beautiful place for lunch. The view from the outside terrace is stunning. Cakes were delicious. The savoury cheese cream tea was to die for. A massive pot of cream cheese and onion chutney.
Absolutely wonderful customer service from the young Manager this afternoon. I wished to purchase a hamper for my sister's birthday on Thursday and he sorted this with a smile. Thank you so much.
Excellent quality food, friendly staff. Be est place to go to get a treat for yourself; be prepared to spend a lot on amazing quality food and drink! Though to be honest things are well priced especially the sausages!Produce changes regularly on the fresh counter so worth lots of trips! Love our monthly trip! Sausages are a must
visited with my daughter hoping to get a nice lunch. We have eaten here quite a few times in the past. We are both gluten free. I ordered a tuna sandwich costing £8 50 and my daughter ordered a cheese and pickle one costing the same. We also ordered a side order of chips between us costing £3+ The sandwiches arrived on very tiny slices of thin white bread with very little filling. The tuna was thinly spread and the cheese ( which in the past has been lovely chunky farmhouse cheese) was a thin square cheese slice with no flavour. A few leaves and 2 tiny tomatoes and a sprinkle of crisps. The menu said also served with carrot salad! We were not told why there was no carrot salad, so we asked and were told it wasn't gluten free so they offered us some more salad leaves. The chips were in a small bowl, 10 of them i think! Nice staff, lovely view, nice cafe! Bad food. It was also overpriced for what was served. We will not be going back and will inform friends and family unless the quality improves
Wow! What a variety of delicious products from fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses, cakes and so much more! It was extremely busy but staff were efficient and it flowed well!
Fabulous farm shop, incredible selection of both local produce and more international delicacies. Staff were very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I cannot imagine leaving without spending £30+ of lovely snacks and food
I've been to Bakewell today and called in it Chatsworth farm shop on the way back to pick up some ham and bit some bobs knowing that it's Chatsworth the best how wrong was I. Just got back home to a ham cob with the ham that I've bought from Chatsworth oh my god it's off 🤢 it taste revolting your supposed to be the best I'm shocked that you can put your name to that discussed.
Wonderful and wide-ranging choice of goods, cheese heaven, some local, some internationally well known, various cheddars, Roquefort, blue cheeses, soft and infused, marvellous selections.fabulous and varied meat products, Hens eggs, duck eggs, quails eggs, cakes galore. It's not cheap but worth the price. Wish we lived locally!!
Good toilets in a building to far left / behind the farm shop. Cafe in rear left corner requires getting your name down on a paper wait list (do not just queue outside as we did) which we didn’t learn until a few people got sat. At such point we could no longer be accommodated. However! There is a delicatessen inside the farm shop so we filled a shopping bag with goodies and sat outside. Luckily it wasn’t windy nor raining.Farm shop is a bit more expensive as expected but the presentation and selection was delightful. The marquee Xmas market at the back made for a lovely stroll through. Had some sausage rolls, sandwiches, cream cones and coffees. Nice to stop by though nothing on Chatsworth House at this time of year!
Love this farm shop fab choice of foods and vegetables and the mince pies to die for absolutely delicious. Staff are lovely helpful and polite the shop is immaculate well worth the visit
A lovely farm shop with an abundance of local produce. The staff are helpful and friendly. Just be ware, it does get busy so you do wait a while queuing but it’s well worth it.
