This is a really nice little farm shop along the road, it has ample parking and a coffee area so makes for a good pit stop, or regular area to pick up some bits. We loved the selection of fresh produce and the meat and sausages that you could pick yourself and mix and match. Also there are loads of eggs that you can get boxed, which made. The only reason I didn’t rate higher is because it is quite small and the selection is limited. But don’t let that put you off it’s still really nice if passing by.
Good prices, good selection of products. Staff are very helpful. Only negative about our experience is it seems to attract rude customers. This was our fifth visit and each time rude people have barged me out of the way. But I will keep returning.
Been visiting Ferndene for years. Excellent fresh and some frozen produce. Excellent newish additions of a coffee outlet with seating, plus a children's play area. Very good plants for sale and amazingly good sausages in a vatiety of flavours.
Another fun filled half hour in Ferndene Farm Shop. The lovely fresh produce is enough to tempt us every week but our treat is to see the lovely smiling faces of the friendly staff. Well done everyone, the perfect retail experience
Love the produce here, but it's got a bit trendy with the coffee shop now, and it was already busy. The burgers and sausages in particular are delicious, but pre-packaged stuff is still in polystyrene trays and cling film. Would like to think they're using up old supplies before moving on to more eco friendly stuff. We'll see.The range of fresh produce, including fruit and veg, is good and at reasonable prices, I've heard people moaning about the cost but never felt ripped off at the checkout.Fresh eggs are lovely.
Fabulous array of meats, local of course. I was there during BBQ season and was not disappointed. The fresh vegetable selection was top notch too. There is also a nice outdoor coffee trailer with a large covered canopy area. All dog friendly.
Excellent farm shop been to many but this one is the best by far. Prices have gone up since last year but its the same everywhere. Sausages £7.95 a kilo. Various family size pies £8.95. There is a lovely cafe outside cup of tea £1.95. Pot mum's various colours £1.50. It's always busy so suggest going early.
Lovely farm shop. Our go to as part of our weekly shop instead of the supermarket. Great quality fruit vegetables and meat. Always great service too.Combined with a great little coffee shop next door.
Easy to park, wheelchair access. Was extremely busy which is always a good sign in my eyes.Decent variety of food but very expensive, but did like the pic ‘n’ mix sausage idea ☺️Staff member that served us wasn’t overly welcoming and Coffee/tea van around the back looked nice but not much seating so couldn’t stay as nowhere to sit. Which is why 3 star rating.
