Mursley Farm shop is a very nice venue for breakfast, the meals are well cooked, very nicely presented, and the service is second to none. However, the food is usually barely warm, or cold, which does spoil the enjoyment of the meal somewhat.
This a great place to grab a bite to eat and pick up some local produce. The food and service never disappoints here. Lovely local spot to support local business.
First time visiting, for breakfast with a friend this morning.Absolute brilliant experience from the moment we walked in to the time we left.Service was excellent.Breakfast was wonderfulAll fresh local ingredientsThe bacon and the sausage in particular were very tasty.I bought some sausages to bring home, my wife is very fussy about sausage, but loved these.I highly recommend a visit to Mursley farm shop again. Will definitely be back soon.
Not a great experience and sadly downhill from where it’s been. Opted for a Ploughman’s - probably one of the worse ploughman’s I’ve experienced. Pork pie was the redeeming factor but sliced brown bread (Hovis Medium), small about of very average cheddar. Was shown as served with sliced bread, none the less terrible for £7.50 and maybe the use of the nice sliced bread sold in the shop would be better.Pricing is now out of step with the quality of of what’s being served.Hope this was an off day!
I had a really nice sausage roll, but the cup of tea was a big disappointment. Hot water in a cup, and you put the tea bag in. They could have at least but the tea bag in, and then add the water. If possible, boiling water. Even better in a teapot
Very clean and plenty of seating. Varied menu to suit all tastes. Ice cream made on site. The only issue is there is only one till, causing the ice cream I had purchased to melt whilst queuing to pay.
Asked for a large latte and a large SKINNY cappuccino. No mention was made that they didn't have skinny milk. She repeated "large latte and large skinny cappuccino". I also ordered a cheese and ham panini. A guy brought us the coffees and I again asked if was a skinny cappuccino and he said we don't have skinny milk, she should have told you at the till. I changed it for a tea which was weak as dishwater ( twining breakfast, not Tetley, Pg tips or Yorkshire tea, ). The panini came which was NOT a Panini . It was a soft deli baguette. It was open so by the time I finished one half the other half was cold. Nothing worse than cold solid cheese to put you off.To cap it all I didn't even get a refund for the difference between coffee and tea. The barista apologised but even he didn't offer a refund even though I saw him talking to the woman on the till as to why I sent it back.Very poor customer service. I won't be back or recommend you to friends so that is a lot of missed business for you.
Large and spacious cafe with good range on menu. Also breakfast menu before 12. Outside seating for good days and inside Aircon when really hot. Giant free car park.
Visited for lunch. Very friendly. Great value. Had a hot sausage roll - was more like a sausage log! Lovely. The shop is crammed full of unusual stuff.Well worth a visit
Our first visit to Mursley farm shop.A great place, our 2yr old grandson absolutely loved the animals, especially the lambs. We had a lovely coffee break, and tasty scones to eat, before heading to the play area.Fab shop too.Grandson chose and paid for his own apple. Before we knew it, three hours had passed. Can't wait to come back😊
Great place to have family time with play area & chickens nearby. Cafe was nice for a quick lunch, we ordered panini, cheese & tomato toast. Both were served hot with potato crisps. We tried banana, ginger & cinnamon icecream; both had flavors but it was too sweet, we regretted the sugar levels.
If you're looking for a delightful country side shop with a wide range of products and snacks, then you're in luck! I recently stumbled upon this gem and I can't stop raving about it. Not only do they have an incredible selection of goodies, but the ice cream is out of this world! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
My wife and I had a great time. Really cool selection of products (and ice cream flavors)! Had the Ferrero rocher + banana peanut butter and a Mocha, everything was delicious and the staff were warm and friendly. We'll definitely be returning in the near future.
Nice spot to drop In for coffee. Locally made sausage rolls are amazing can also recommend the bacon sandwiches. The scones are a personal favourite. Amazing selection of ice cream made on the premises. Popular with cyclists during our visits. Outside play area for toddlers. Free range egg farm and they accept the egg trays back for reuse. Good baby changing facilities.
Today: Quieter than usual mid afternoon Friday 29/12/23. Beautiful hot chocolate with whipped cream. Very tasty vegan sausage roll. Lots of seasonal produce. Very nice gifts and special alcohol on sale.Had a lovely cream tea and assorted drinks. Reasonably priced. Farm shop produce very varied. Fruit/veg looked very fresh. Lovely to see Al Paca and pygmy goats next to the car park. Lovely end to a spring run in the countryside around Milton Keynes. 👍🙂
Lovely cafe (food ordered at till) and shop. Nice selection of pot plants and herbs. They had some lovely Christmas trees!Newly extended barn opposite with gifts to buy.Fresh eggs and other produce. Nice small Kids play area, and some friendly sheep, goats and alpacas to see.
I really enjoyed discovering this lovely piece of farm shop/cafe in a beautiful village setting.I had been going past this for years and didn't realise how lovely it was. I love the fact that is so clean and tidy for a grocery shop 👌🏼that for me is very important and it adds to making the entire experience a good one. There is a variety of locally produced things you can purchase but not in huge quantities (I guess that's why things are fresh)I spent the most of my visit in the cafe and really enjoyed the things I ordered! That sausage roll and hotdog was delicious and tasted so yum. The staff are very lovely and friendly people with a smile always on their face.Very cosy setup and some sitting area outside available which would be great during summertime, the ice-cream is a must have 🥰😍 and he quality is exquisite! It is also used in the milkshakes 😋Overall, I would recommend and visit again and again 👍🏼Though the main road leading to it is currently closed due to ongoing works however if you use Google maps and type in "mursley village school" and it will take you through the back route but takes an additional 5mins drive.
